I stayed up until 2am making little "Happy Mother's Day notes to go on these candy bars so that every mother at church today had a treat. I was given the responsibility as the Young Womens President (youth group leader over the 12-18 year old girls) but ended up doing it all myself. Well, I did get some help from my generous friend Lisa. Anyways, I spent all that time and energy on other people's moms and my own mom didn't even get her card. It got caught up in the mail somewhere between here and Denver and I'm real sad about it. I'm hoping that the little tribute below will make up for it just a little bit.
I'm hooked on the teal blue/red color combo these days...

So that's her, Pam Jo. She was always real good at playing with me on the swings. She's the best mom ever and a great friend too. I am constantly amazed at her unselfishness. She is willing to do just about anything for her children. She's super thoughtful and generous and I'm pretty sure she'd go through all my trials for me just so I didn't have to feel sad or frustrated. My happiness is at the top of her priority list and she's funny to top it all off. I have soooo many memories of having so much fun together and laughing until she snorts. There is nobody who's more fun to thrift store shop with and she is the queen bargain hunter. This is a picture of her latest bargain... Only she will get that joke. :)
You deserve the highest honor Mom. Thanks for everything. I love you and Happy Mother's Day!
