Have Another Day Like This One:

A Happy Birthday shout-out to the best older brother in history. Dana, I hope today puts a smile on your face like the one above (that's one of my all-time favorite photos) and I hope it's the start of your best year yet. Here's a little walk down memory lane... we were so cute! All arms and legs but I suppose that's still the situation. Have a great day!!!

Party Like a Rockstar

Look who just got their summer hairdo. Rockstar is ready to cruise for chicks with his head out the window and his tongue wagging in the wind. Watch out *ladies*!
ps- I know I suck at blogging but I promise to try harder.

Happy Mother's Day!

I stayed up until 2am making little "Happy Mother's Day notes to go on these candy bars so that every mother at church today had a treat. I was given the responsibility as the Young Womens President (youth group leader over the 12-18 year old girls) but ended up doing it all myself. Well, I did get some help from my generous friend Lisa. Anyways, I spent all that time and energy on other people's moms and my own mom didn't even get her card. It got caught up in the mail somewhere between here and Denver and I'm real sad about it. I'm hoping that the little tribute below will make up for it just a little bit.
I'm hooked on the teal blue/red color combo these days...
click to enlarge the picture so you can read this amazing quote... so true.
So that's her, Pam Jo. She was always real good at playing with me on the swings. She's the best mom ever and a great friend too. I am constantly amazed at her unselfishness. She is willing to do just about anything for her children. She's super thoughtful and generous and I'm pretty sure she'd go through all my trials for me just so I didn't have to feel sad or frustrated. My happiness is at the top of her priority list and she's funny to top it all off. I have soooo many memories of having so much fun together and laughing until she snorts. There is nobody who's more fun to thrift store shop with and she is the queen bargain hunter. This is a picture of her latest bargain... Only she will get that joke. :)
You deserve the highest honor Mom. Thanks for everything. I love you and Happy Mother's Day!

I Do Believe in Everlasting Love...

...But this is still my favorite song right now. I listen to it over and over and over. I think it is incredible despite the slightly creepy video.

I'm a Winner!

That's right. This lovely Kodak Duaflex (or one just like it) is going to be priority mailed to me tomorrow courtesy of the kind ebay seller who didn't quite understand the treasure he had. I am so excited to make-over it's pretty little self into this:
You may be wondering: "What on earth is that contraption?" Well for one, it is the answer to my prayers. For weeks I have been trying to figure out how I could produce the quality of photo I get from my Holga, but with the convenience of digital. Then one random day, my fabulous sister recommended I make a stop at this real cute blog on my daily perusal and voila! The solution to my problem. It's called TtV or Through the Viewfinder and you can find out more about it here.
