I finally watched Bright Star. I found it so interesting. Not a movie I immediately loved but I keep finding myself thinking about it. I can only describe it as hauntingly romantic. And also beautiful. My favorite scene: in response to a letter John writes Fanny where he wishes they were butterflies, she turns her bedroom into a butterfly farm. Amazing. This picture doesn't do it justice.
Writing about it makes me want to watch it again. It's one of those movies I think I'll fall for further each time. Here's one more image (beautiful) this one's from rehearsal before filming.

Love the butterfly scene. I think you just about summed it up for me. I knew that I WANTED to see this, and loved certain things when I did but wasnt overwhelmingly in love with it (like I can be with movies) but it left me thinking about it for some time.
