It's Not Easy Being Green
Anyone who's been within earshot of me recently knows I'm sick of the grey days here in Portland. Yes I'm ready for summer but when you see the beauty-ful green surroundings that our liquid sunshine provides, it becomes almost worth it. Jeremy, Rockstar and I spent Memorial Day (yes it's been a while since I've posted and I've probably lost the two people who read my blog anyway) in the Columbia River Gorge. We went to Hood River and took our time driving home looking at scenes like this one:
SO BEAUTIFUL! Jer was a gem of a husband and stopped along the way whenever I wanted to use my TtV camera contraption. I took lots of photos like the ones above and had a great time doing it. One of the cutest moments of the day was when Rockstar learned to jump from one railroad tie to the next to avoid the gravel in between. (Don't say a word, I've already come to terms with the fact that I'm an abnoxiously proud doggy-mama)
***Update*** Since posting this I have learned that the word is much less abnoxious, much more obnoxious... at least if you're speaking English which, it seems, I only occasionally do.
